Rosacea is a frequent finding in Irish people. We are genetically prone to it and there often is a family history. It can present with redness and spots and pustules. In many cases it can be treated with lifestyle modification and topical creams and gels. Some cases require treatment with low dose antibiotics and some cases require treatment with rosccutane. Laser can be a useful adjunctive treatment. Rosacea can be liable to flare especially due to lifestyle and stress.
